Cette semaine, j’ai choisi de ne photographier que des plantes puisque le début du mois de juin est favorable pour ce thème spécifique. Toutes mes photos ont été prises à l’Île d’Orléans à notre refuge et mettent en vedettes ce qui pousse autour de nous en ce moment (muguet, cœurs saignants, pissenlit, pivoine, etc). Pour le traitement des photos, j’ai privilégié le noir et blanc en début de semaine puisque la météo a été plutôt maussade et peut favorable à la couleur. Par contre à partir de jeudi, la couleur était de mise puisque nous avons eu beaucoup de soleil et de lumière. Trois des photos sont des doubles expositions.

Ma semaine a été très occupée, mais pas tant par la photographie. Entre les obligations inscrites à l’agenda, la programmation de quelques moments ludiques comme un chaleureux vernissage et un souper en tête à tête avec mon amoureuse, les travaux de jardinage et d’aménagement autour du Refuge, la démolition de palettes et la construction d’une boîte à compost… il ne m’est resté que peu de temps à consacrer à la photographie… mais le défi 365 suit son cours!

This week, I chose to photograph only plants, as the beginning of June is favorable for this specific theme. All my photos were taken on Île d’Orléans at Le Refuge and are showcasing what is growing around us at the moment (lily of the valley, bleeding hearts, dandelion, peony, etc.). As far as the post processing is concerned, I favored black and white at the beginning of the week since the weather was rather gloomy and did not allow emphasizing the colors. On the other hand, from Thursday on, the colors were popping up nicely since we had a lot of sun and light. Three of the photos are double exposures.

My week has been busy, but not so much from a photography standpoint. Between the obligations on the agenda, the programming of a few fun moments like a warm opening and a dinner with my lover, gardening and landscaping works around the Refuge, the demolition of pallets and the construction of a compost box… I only had a little time to devote to photography… but the 365-challenge continues running!
