Escapade au soleil : grâce à une charmante invitation à nous joindre à une bande de joyeux lurons. Une belle occasion de faire une coupure nette entre l’hiver et le printemps. Une semaine à Cuba… pour nous, une expérience inédite en vingt ans… que nous pourrions d’ailleurs facilement renouveler si les circonstances s‘y prêtent à nouveau !
Jogging matinal, marches sur la plage, se faire dorer la couenne, le choix entre la piscine, ou l’eau salée et les vagues. Aucun « faut qu’on » au programme… alors du temps pour lire, faire des siestes, prendre des apéros en bonne compagnie, manger sans même avoir à y penser, participer aux activités « d’animación », observer les pélicans… et regarder les palmiers se faire brasser par des vents dépassant parfois les 25 nœuds… dommage pour nos amis amateurs de plongée… les bateaux ne sortaient pas… mais les « kite surfers » eux, en ont eu pour leur argent !
Une expérience qui donne le goût de récidiver !

Getaway in the sun: thanks to our friends for the pleasant invitation to join them in the South. This was a great opportunity to make a stunting break between winter and spring. A full week in Cuba… for us, this was an unprecedented experience in twenty years… which we could easily renew if the circumstances line up again in a near future!
Early jogging, walks on the beach, sunbathing, choosing between the pool or the salty water and the waves. No need to include mandatory tasks to your planning… lots of free time to read, take a naps, appreciate cocktails in good company, eat without even having to think about it, participate in « animación » activities, observe the pelicans… and watch the palm trees get brewed by winds sometimes exceeding 25 knots… a real pity for our friends who came equipped for diving… the boats did not got out… but the « kite surfers » folks, got what they were looking for!
An experience that opens the door to renewal!
